Terms & Conditions

1.1 These Terms & Conditions govern the access, registration, use, order placement, payment, delivery, revision, cancellation, refund, and service relationship between the user and MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA, operating under the MENTISERA ecosystem.

1.2 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA provides ethical academic research support, scholarly editing, research mentoring, formatting, dissertation advisory, publication support, and academic refinement services.

1.3 By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an order, uploading documents, requesting a quotation, approving a quotation, making payment, communicating with MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA, or receiving any service, the user confirms that they have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all related policies of MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

1.4 If a user does not agree with these Terms & Conditions, the user must not access the platform, submit an order, upload documents, make payment, or use any service offered by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

1.5 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the right to refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms, misuses the platform, or acts in a manner that may expose MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA to academic, legal, operational, reputational, or financial risk.

2. Definitions

2.1 “MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA” refers to the academic research support platform operating under the MENTISERA ecosystem, including its website, services, systems, staff, experts, editors, reviewers, representatives, and authorized service providers.

2.2 “MENTISERA” refers to the broader brand, ecosystem, business structure, verticals, digital platforms, intellectual property, systems, processes, and affiliated service units operating under or connected with the MENTISERA brand.

2.3 “Platform” refers to the website, dashboards, forms, calculators, order systems, client portal, admin portal, expert portal, payment flow, communication channels, and any digital system used by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

2.4 “Client” refers to any individual, student, scholar, researcher, faculty member, professional, institution, company, department, organization, or representative that places an order, requests a quotation, uploads files, makes payment, or uses the services of MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

2.5 “User” refers to any person accessing or using the platform, including visitors, clients, registered users, experts, editors, reviewers, administrators, and authorized representatives.

2.6 “Service” refers to any academic editing, proofreading, scholarly refinement, research advisory, dissertation support, thesis support, proposal review, citation formatting, publication support, book chapter support, journal article support, revision support, formatting, mentoring, consultation, or related academic assistance provided by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

2.7 “Order” refers to a service request submitted by the client through the platform, form, dashboard, email, WhatsApp, direct communication, or any approved communication channel.

2.8 “Quotation” refers to the estimated, revised, or final price issued for a service after review of the client’s requirements, uploaded materials, academic level, deadline, and scope of work.

2.9 “Deliverable” refers to any edited document, reviewed file, formatted file, comments, feedback, report, checklist, consultation note, revision note, invoice, delivery note, or service output provided to the client.

2.10 “Expert” refers to any academic editor, reviewer, research advisor, subject specialist, publication consultant, formatter, quality reviewer, or person assigned by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA to support service delivery.

2.11 “Scope of Work” refers to the specific service, document type, word count, academic level, instructions, files, deadline, citation style, formatting requirements, revision limits, and deliverables approved by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

3. Nature and Scope of Services

3.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA provides ethical academic support services intended to assist clients in improving the clarity, structure, quality, formatting, coherence, citation accuracy, and scholarly presentation of academic and research documents.

3.2 Services may include: research proposal support; BS dissertation support; MS/MPhil thesis support; PhD dissertation support; dissertation chapter review; academic editing; proofreading; scholarly refinement; literature review support; methodology advisory; theoretical framework review; journal article editing; book chapter editing; supervisor comments revision; reviewer comments response; citation and reference formatting; university formatting; journal formatting; publication readiness review; research consultation and mentoring.

3.3 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA provides support, advisory, editing, formatting, review, mentoring, and scholarly refinement services only.

3.4 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA does not provide dishonest academic submission, impersonation, examination support, fabricated research, fake references, false data, guaranteed grades, guaranteed approvals, or academic misconduct services.

3.5 The client understands that MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA is not a university, degree-awarding institution, examination body, journal, publisher, accreditation body, or regulatory authority.

3.6 The client remains solely responsible for the final academic use, interpretation, submission, disclosure, approval, and institutional compliance of all delivered materials.

3.7 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the right to determine the appropriate method, process, expert assignment, workflow, and internal quality procedure for each order.

4. Academic Integrity and Ethical Use

4.1 The client agrees to use MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA services only for lawful, ethical, educational, research-supportive, and academically responsible purposes.

4.2 The client may use MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA services for academic editing, draft improvement, research mentoring, formatting correction, citation improvement, supervisor feedback revision, manuscript refinement, dissertation improvement, proposal development guidance, publication preparation support, and improving academic clarity and structure.

4.3 The client shall not use MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA services for academic cheating, impersonation, fabricated research, fake references, false citations, false data, exam completion, guaranteed grades, plagiarism concealment, Turnitin bypass, AI detector bypass, misrepresentation of authorship, dishonest academic submission, or any act prohibited by institutional, legal, or professional rules.

4.4 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the absolute right to reject, cancel, suspend, terminate, or refuse any order that appears to violate academic integrity, institutional rules, legal requirements, ethical standards, or platform policies.

4.5 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be responsible for any misuse of its services by the client after delivery.

4.6 The client acknowledges that MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA does not guarantee grades, supervisor approval, committee approval, university acceptance, journal acceptance, publication acceptance, funding approval, scholarship selection, or any specific academic outcome.

4.7 Any client request involving fabricated data, fake references, dishonest authorship, impersonation, unauthorized exam completion, or detection-system bypassing may be rejected without liability.

5. Client Representations and Responsibilities

5.1 By submitting an order, uploading a file, requesting a quotation, or making payment, the client represents and warrants that: (a) the client has the legal, academic, and ethical right to upload, share, and use the submitted files; (b) the submitted files do not violate copyright, confidentiality, privacy, intellectual property, institutional, journal, publisher, or third-party rights; (c) the client has provided accurate, complete, lawful, and non-misleading instructions; (d) the service is requested for ethical academic support only; (e) the client will review all deliverables before use; (f) the client will comply with all institutional, academic, journal, publisher, professional, and legal requirements; and (g) the client will not use MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA services in a manner that harms MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA, its experts, staff, systems, reputation, or legal standing.

5.2 The client is responsible for providing complete and accurate instructions; required files; supervisor comments (where applicable); reviewer comments (where applicable); university or journal guidelines; citation style requirements; formatting templates; deadline requirements; research details; and relevant academic or institutional instructions.

5.3 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be responsible for delays, errors, omissions, inconsistencies, quality limitations, missed expectations, or rejected outputs caused by incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unclear, contradictory, or misleading information provided by the client.

5.4 The client remains responsible for verifying factual accuracy, source accuracy, citation accuracy, data accuracy, institutional compliance, ethical approval requirements, and final submission suitability.

5.5 The client agrees not to make false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harmful statements against MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA, its staff, experts, editors, reviewers, or representatives.

6. Order Submission, Review, and Acceptance

6.1 Submission of an order does not automatically constitute acceptance by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

6.2 Every order is subject to admin review before confirmation, assignment, production, or delivery.

6.3 Upon review, MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may accept the order, reject the order, request clarification, modify the quotation, recommend a different service, extend or revise the delivery timeline, convert the order into a custom quotation, or decline the order on academic, ethical, operational, legal, financial, or reputational grounds.

6.4 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the right to refuse any order that is unclear, incomplete, unethical, unlawful, impractical, beyond available expertise, inconsistent with platform policies, or likely to create academic, legal, operational, reputational, or financial risk.

6.5 An order becomes active only after admin acceptance, final quote confirmation, client approval of the quote, and payment confirmation, unless otherwise approved by admin.

6.6 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may close, pause, or cancel an order where the client fails to respond, fails to provide required files, changes instructions repeatedly, refuses to comply with policies, or creates unreasonable delivery risk.

7. Pricing, Calculator, and Quotations

7.1 The pricing calculator provides an estimated price only and does not constitute a binding offer.

7.2 The final quotation may differ from the calculator estimate after admin review.

7.3 Pricing may be determined based on service category, academic level, word count, deadline, discipline, complexity, document quality, citation style, formatting requirements, revision requirements, expert level required, add-on services, urgency, and applicable service charges or taxes.

7.4 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the right to revise, increase, reduce, customize, withdraw, or correct any quotation before order confirmation.

7.5 A quotation becomes valid only after it is approved by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA admin.

7.6 Any additional work requested after quote approval may require a revised quotation or separate order.

7.7 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be bound by pricing errors, technical errors, incorrect calculator results, accidental discounts, or system-generated estimates inconsistent with the actual scope of work.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Payment may be accepted through NayaPay payment link, NayaPay checkout, bank transfer, wallet transfer, or any other payment method approved by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

8.2 An order may not begin until payment is confirmed unless otherwise approved by admin.

8.3 Payment gateway charges, transaction charges, bank charges, currency conversion fees, and taxes may apply.

8.4 Failed, expired, reversed, disputed, incomplete, or unverified payments shall not activate the order.

8.5 In case of duplicate payment, the client must provide proof of payment for verification.

8.6 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the right to verify payment manually before activating an order.

8.7 Refunds, if applicable, shall be handled according to the Refund Policy.

8.8 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may suspend order processing, delivery, revisions, or file access if payment is incomplete, disputed, reversed, flagged, or subject to suspected fraud.

9. Delivery Timeline

9.1 Delivery timelines are determined based on service type, word count, academic level, order complexity, deadline selected, availability of complete files, payment confirmation, client response time, expert availability, and approved scope of work.

9.2 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall make reasonable efforts to deliver services within the agreed timeline.

9.3 Delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

9.4 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for delays caused by incomplete instructions, missing files, late client responses, new requirements after order approval, repeated client changes, third-party technical issues, payment gateway issues, and force majeure circumstances, including platform, hosting, or communication disruptions.

9.5 If the client delays required input, the delivery timeline may be extended without liability to MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

10. Revisions

10.1 Revisions are governed by the Revision Policy.

10.2 Free revisions apply only to changes within the original approved scope of work.

10.3 Free revisions may include missed approved instructions, minor formatting corrections, citation style corrections, clarification within approved scope, and correction of incomplete approved deliverables.

10.4 Free revisions do not include new topic, new chapter, new methodology, new research questions, new supervisor comments received after delivery, new reviewer comments received after delivery, new university or journal guidelines provided later, new data, findings, or references, complete rewriting beyond original scope, change of academic direction, or personal preference changes outside approved scope.

10.5 Any revision outside the approved scope may require a new quotation.

10.6 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the right to reject revision requests that are abusive, unclear, excessive, outside scope, submitted after the revision window, or inconsistent with the approved order.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

11.1 Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy and Order Cancellation Policy.

11.2 Refund eligibility may depend on order stage, payment status, work progress, expert assignment, delivery status, client conduct, scope change, quality review outcome, and administrative approval.

11.3 Refunds may not be available where work has been delivered, work is substantially completed, the client changes topic or scope, the client provides new instructions after approval, the client fails to provide required files or clarifications, the client violates academic integrity or platform policies, the client refuses reasonable revision or quality review, or the client expected a guaranteed grade, approval, or publication outcome.

11.4 Payment gateway charges, transaction fees, bank charges, currency conversion fees, administrative charges, and service charges may be non-refundable.

11.5 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA reserves the right to deduct the value of completed work, expert time, admin processing, gateway charges, and applicable costs from any approved refund.

11.6 Chargeback abuse, false payment disputes, or fraudulent refund claims may result in account suspension, order closure, legal action, or refusal of future service.

12. Confidentiality and Data Protection

12.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA treats client files, research ideas, unpublished manuscripts, dissertation drafts, thesis chapters, supervisor comments, reviewer comments, personal information, payment records, and communications as confidential.

12.2 Access to client materials may be limited to authorized admin, assigned expert, academic editor, quality reviewer, and technical support where necessary.

12.3 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall take reasonable steps to protect client data, documents, and communications.

12.4 The client acknowledges that no online platform, file system, payment system, communication channel, or internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

12.5 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for unauthorized access caused by client negligence, weak passwords, third-party platform compromise, email compromise, device compromise, or force majeure circumstances.

13. Intellectual Property

13.1 The client retains ownership of original documents, drafts, research ideas, uploaded files, manuscripts, thesis materials, dissertation materials, and client-provided academic content.

13.2 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA retains full ownership of website design, platform architecture, internal workflows, templates, quality checklists, training materials, brand assets, proprietary tools, pricing logic, operational processes, software logic, service frameworks, and internal documentation.

13.3 Delivered editorial suggestions, review comments, formatting corrections, and advisory feedback are provided for the client’s academic use under the agreed service.

13.4 The client shall not copy, reproduce, resell, publish, distribute, reverse-engineer, commercialize, or exploit MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA templates, tools, workflows, service methods, internal processes, prompts, frameworks, or proprietary materials without written permission.

13.5 Unauthorized use of MENTISERA intellectual property may result in account termination, legal action, and claim for damages.

14. No Guarantees

14.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA does not guarantee academic grades, supervisor approval, committee approval, university acceptance, journal acceptance, publication acceptance, scholarship selection, admission approval, specific similarity score, specific AI detection result, specific ranking, indexing, or publication outcome, or any specific academic, professional, financial, or institutional outcome.

14.2 Any estimated outcome, editorial comment, academic suggestion, or publication recommendation provided by MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA is advisory only.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for academic penalties caused by client misuse, institutional rejection, journal rejection, supervisor disagreement, loss caused by incorrect client instructions, delay caused by client non-response, unauthorized use of delivered material, misinterpretation of editorial suggestions, third-party technical or payment issues, platform downtime, data loss caused by third-party systems, and indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

15.2 Where liability is established, the maximum liability of MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

15.3 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for any claim arising from client misuse, academic misconduct, institutional non-compliance, or unauthorized third-party use of delivered material.

16. Indemnity

16.1 The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA, MENTISERA, its owners, directors, employees, experts, editors, reviewers, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, expenses, legal costs, or proceedings arising from client misuse of services, academic misconduct, breach of these Terms, violation of institutional rules or law, copyright or intellectual property infringement, unauthorized file upload, false or incomplete instructions, defamatory or harmful conduct, fraudulent payment activity, or misrepresentation of delivered work.

16.2 This indemnity shall survive order completion, account termination, and cessation of platform use.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

17.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may suspend, restrict, or terminate user access if a user violates academic integrity, misuses services, provides false information, uploads unlawful or harmful content, harasses staff or other users, attempts fraud or chargeback abuse, violates any platform policy, attempts unauthorized access, or causes legal, reputational, operational, or financial risk to MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

17.2 Suspension or termination may affect account access, order access, file access, revision eligibility, refund eligibility, and future service availability.

17.3 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for losses arising from suspension or termination due to user misconduct or policy violation.

18. Communication and Notices

18.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may communicate through platform dashboard, email, WhatsApp, SMS, phone call, official support channel, or other approved communication methods.

18.2 The client is responsible for maintaining accurate and active contact details.

18.3 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for missed updates, delays, or delivery issues caused by incorrect contact information, inactive email, WhatsApp restrictions, spam filters, or client non-response.

18.4 Official communications related to orders, payments, revisions, refunds, and delivery are treated as valid when sent through the registered or provided communication channel.

19. Third-Party Services

19.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may use third-party tools or service providers for payment processing, hosting, storage, communication, analytics, email delivery, file handling, security, or workflow automation.

19.2 Third-party services may include payment gateways, cloud storage providers, communication platforms, analytics tools, and technical service providers.

19.3 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for interruptions, payment delays, data issues, downtime, policy changes, or failures caused by third-party service providers.

19.4 Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

20. Force Majeure

20.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA shall not be liable for delay or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control including natural disasters, internet disruption, power failure, cyberattack, server outage, payment gateway failure, government restriction, war or unrest, strike, emergency, platform or hosting disruption, illness or unavoidable expert unavailability, and any event beyond reasonable operational control.

20.2 In such circumstances, MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may extend timelines, pause services, reschedule work, or issue revised service arrangements.

21. Governing Policy Framework

21.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be read together with Academic Integrity Policy, Ethical Use Policy, AI Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Confidentiality Policy, Refund Policy, Revision Policy, Payment Policy, Data Retention Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer, Service Agreement, Order Cancellation Policy, Complete Dissertation Service Policy, Publication Support Policy, and Expert & Editor Code of Conduct.

21.2 If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific service policy, the specific service policy may apply unless MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA determines otherwise for compliance, legal, or operational reasons.

22. Amendments

22.1 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may update, amend, revise, replace, or withdraw these Terms & Conditions at any time.

22.2 Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

22.3 Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

22.4 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA is not required to provide individual notice of every policy update unless required by applicable law or internal policy.

23. Severability

23.1 If any provision is invalid, unlawful, unenforceable, or ineffective, the remaining provisions remain in force.

23.2 The invalid provision may be replaced or interpreted in a manner that most closely reflects the original intent while remaining lawful and enforceable.

24. Entire Understanding

24.1 These Terms & Conditions, together with applicable policies, order details, approved quotations, invoices, and service-specific terms, constitute the entire understanding between the client and MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA.

24.2 No verbal statement, informal message, advertisement, estimate, or general communication overrides these Terms unless expressly confirmed in writing by authorized MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA admin.

25. Contact

25.1 For questions, concerns, notices, or support regarding these Terms & Conditions, users may contact MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA through official website contact form, client dashboard support channel, official support email, or official WhatsApp support number.

25.2 MENTISCRIBE by MENTISERA may require verification of identity, order number, payment record, or account details before responding to legal, financial, refund, revision, or data-related requests.
